New Coding Resource

Students were introduced to a new coding resource today: LightBot! Students are learning to "write" procedures to make Lightbot perform various tasks! Students can access this website through the link on Google Classroom, or under Learning Resources on this blog. 

Kindness in Action

Today we watched this video showing kindness in action, as it is our Fruit of the Spirit focus this month. Students are challenged to show small random acts of kindness to others (friends, family, strangers) throughout the day

Please Bring a Rock!

Last week in Grade 4 we read the story "You Be You". The students were able to pick out the message that we all are unique, and have our own great qualities that we bring into our classroom everyday. Students are asked to bring in a rock, no larger than the palm of their hand, for a corresponding art task!
